We’re heading out to a farm 90 minutes northwest of DC for a weekend of relaxation, activity, nature, nurture, company, reflection, gratitude, etc.. It’s going to be awesome.

- Lex Cade-White is our intern minister for the year and herself a YA. She’s hosting a series of dialogues about race and multiculturalism. Email her at lcade-white@allsouls.ws to learn more or sign up.

Most important:

Our retreat is coming up! It starts Friday evening 11/4 and Saturday 11/5 and the first part of 11/6. Spots are filling up fast, and this is going to be special, for real. Don’t miss it. Instead, email Susie Kelnberger to reserve your spot. It will cost something TBD. Location is in beautiful Middletown, Maryland, on a farm right near the Appalachian Trail, about 90 minutes away.

After the service, Bill Varettoni is giving a (free) seminar on personal financial organization and planning. Bill does this for a living, so he’ll have great advice on how we can keep our finances in order.

Our third-week wildcard activity during June is with the Silver Souls (the church’s community of older members). They reached out to us to do some of the physical work for the church picnic they’re hosting. It’s a service opportunity and a chance to involve ourselves in church life. Location: 16th and Kennedy, near the tennis courts.
